First time we came here for my birthday dinner. Reservation was done online, fast and convenient!! The restaurant looks so nice and I like the decoration ^^
We ordered two omakase and two rolls for four people. The sushi was very good, so fresh and juicy. I can tell they picked good fishes for sushi! Good job. I think it's worth for $75. Also, they used real wasabi, 10+ here!!!!
We will definitely come back again! -

Based on the 4 star overall rating, not sure if this was just an off night. Unfortunately our order was not correct on one of the rolls (asked for no spicy mayo, wasabi mayo was all over it). I understand that mistakes happen so that wasn't the issue at all. The frustrating part as a patron was being met with push back from our server advising it wasn't spicy mayo, it was wasabi mayo (same family of sauces in my opinion, and he seemed annoyed at having to take the roll back. I also asked for an iced green tea. The server advised they don't really have it, but could make me one that would be unsweetened. That was totally fine, I don't take my tea sweet. What I got was a cup of lukewarm water with a straw in the cup. It tasted nothing like tea. If this item is not on the menu, just tell your customers it's not on the menu. I would have much preferred something else. I had to post a pic, because I was confused.
The sushi was decent. The nigiri looked really delicious, and the rolls we got were good. I should've raised my hand about the tea, so that is my bad for not giving the restaurant the chance to make it right, but just wanted to make sure future customers didn't make the same choice I did. I think better customer service would go a long way. -

Pado is a nice little sushi joint with a solid Omakase that won't break the bank. We went here for dinner and were quite satisfied with the experience.
The Omakase that we had for dinner was pretty good. They start off with a round of lighter fish, followed by a plate of fattier, richer fish, then a plate of some creative fusion sushi and end it all with a maki roll. Total 10 pieces in all + a small maki roll. Some of our favorites were the fatty tuna, the one with quail egg, and the uni and salmon roe one. The sushi is quite similar to what you get at most sushi joints around the city but the fish was definitely quite fresh and tasty and the third plate of creative sushi was something we felt you wouldn't find at many other places.
Decor wise the place was fairly standard. Service was good, and the dishes were well paced. A good amount of food as well - we felt full but not stuffed at the end of our meal.
All in all a nice place to come if you want to try out an Omakase (or a la carte is probably going to be good to here) -

Came here for birthday dinner and was excited to try their omakase menu, it was easy to make reservations and there was plenty of seating when we got here. Biggest highlight of my night was spotting Sara Ramirez( Callie Torres in greys anatomy) here anyways... I was too shy to say Hi and I thought it might be rude to interrupt someone enjoying their dinner so I decided to just admire from afar.
The appetizer was decent I wasn't a fan of the shrimp it was wayyyy too sweet and the hamachi in truffle was meh, didn't really stand out. The avocado fries however was different in a good way, I've never had fried avocado and I actually don't mind it! The mayo dipping sauce could have used a little lemon or a little Siracha kick but it was still good. The omakase for amount of food is really worth it for $75 you get ALOT of food, however I think this type of omakase is suited for people who like traditional omakase where there isn't much frills to the sushi peices, I on the other hand prefer truffle and yuzu and jalepenos and gold flakes twist to my omakase and found this a little bland. The wasabi is in the sushi already so they don't offer that on the side.
Service was friendly and the waiter came around the introduce the fish and refill our water. If traditional omakase is what you like then I would recommend this. -

Satisfying sushi dinner from start to finish! My boyfriend and I came Saturday night for dinner and ordered
+ hamachilly appetizer (nicely subtle truffle oil flavor)
+ crispy rice with tuna (thought this was a unique item on the menu and I was glad to have tried it. Definitely think it's a good thing to have your first time here but I personally prefer the regular sushi rolls -- the deep fried rice stuck to my teeth)
from rolls
+ the love
+ tri-state roll (my favorite of the night)
The fish is so fresh it melts in your mouth! I loved both rolls we tried. The service was also great -- the rolls took a bit long to make and during our wait, they brought out a complimentary edamame appetizer (which was tasty, topped with chili oil and a lemon). Great place overall for a date night (although note that it can get kind of loud in the small space).
